Full Circle Compost is a 40+ acre composting site in Carson City that keeps about 50,000 cubic yards of organic materials out of the landfill each year. One of Northern Nevada's largest composting operations, it was founded by Craig Witt, a soil biologist who wanted to help supplement the high desert Nevada soils. Soil in this area tends to be inherently low in nutrients and biology, and Full Circle Compost is dedicated to helping growers amend their soils and have found success in this using time, patience, and a deep understanding of Nevada soil fertility. Grow up farm is located approximately 20 miles north of Reno just southwest of Bordertown. We have ranched and farmed here since 1992 raising lamb, cattle and alfalfa.

In 2013 we constructed our uniquely designed greenhouse of repurposed material. In 2018 we started our business growing organic vegetable, flower and herb seedlings.
