Did you know that you can bulk special order your favorite local produce from farmers like Rick Lattin? A big summer harvest of Lattin Farms [Fallon NV] Shishito Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes, and Roma Tomatoes are now available. These Shishitos are perfect for home grilling and are a staple summer menu item! Every week we send out a list of all the local goods available from the farmers who deliver to us, allowing co-op member-owners and area chefs to save big on case specials.
Orders are due by noon on Wednesdays for a Friday or weekend pickup.

Mewaldt Organics
Bill Mewaldt just dropped off FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS of Organic White Lahontan Soft Neck Garlic! (sorry / not sorry vampires) Grown in Fallon, Nevada, these bulbs are enormous, and one of Bill's largest garlic crops ever. He told us this delivery accounts for 40% of his business this year! Bill's been growing and selling produce [tomatoes, parsley, sunchokes, seeds, carrots, garlic, etc] in the area since the 1970's.
Lahontan is a unique, artichoke soft-neck white garlic with a fresh, rich, spicy, pungent flavor. Heat builds slowly to an explosion that warms your entire mouth fast, followed by a creamy aftertaste. Tight clove sheaves make it a great keeper. Variety is excellent for braiding, with 10-12 very large cloves per bulb. And oh yeah, it's a great immune booster. Stock up now!!
