Special Edition: Seedling Sale 2024
Lettuce Party - 2024 Seedling Sale is ON!
The webpage is LIVE to order your seedlings online in advance of the in-person event on May 18th! While we strongly encourage online ordering because many varieties sell out quickly, all seedlings will be picked up on May 18th from 8 AM - Noon from the farmer you purchased them from (check your email for your order summary). 🌱
We'll have over 400 varieties of seedlings available between our online and in-person sales. Online sales will be booming now until May 12th, when we'll close the site and prepping for the event!
Purchasing through our sale means building up your garden with plants actually acclimated to our NV climate! Plus, our local farmers can provide plenty of tips on growing in the high desert. What's unique about the Great Basin Community Food Co-op Seedling Sale is that all participating farmers retain 100 of sales & profits! Love your farmer and help them get a great start to their season.
P.S. - If growing a garden isn't your thing - take this opportunity to try our Foodshed Cafe, just steps away from the sale on the 2nd floor of the co-op.
Don't forget ... the annual in-person event is on Saturday, May 18th from 8 AM - Noon and you can always select from a limited variety (that were not reserved from pre-orders) day-of. 😀 Thank you for your support - we can’t wait to see you there!
Our main floor House Made kitchen case is back to being full again! 🤩🥳 It may not seem like a big deal to y’all, but opening an entire restaurant while keeping up with the grab-and-go case has taken a Herculean effort!
Don’t have time for a full sit-down meal at the Foodshed Cafe? No worries - we’ve got spring rolls, sandwiches, protein options, vegan wraps, and lots of salads available in our grab-and-go section … and we are just days away from launching online ordering (via the TOAST app) for the café 🥳
E-GIFT CARDS... PERFECT GIFT
We've got the perfect gift for any occasion! Buy a co-op gift card online and then text or email it to your recipient. They can scan it from their phone at the register to pay for their next grocery trip. 🥳
