This one is Vegan and Gluten Free, featuring a Cream Cheese Frosting flavored with Local Blackberries and Raspberries from Gardnerville's Jacobs Berry Farm. Topped with Local Mojo Farms Edible Flowers that were grown just a few miles East of the Co-op.

This new Cheesecake features a jam made from Jacobs Berry Farm Raspberries in Gardnerville, and Eggs from Palomino Valley - all handcrafted on a Gluten Free crust... decadent, rich, Local, delicious. By the slice in our prepared foods coolers now!

Vegan & Gluten Free, these Salted Peanut Butter Cookies are made with Organic ingredients including Miyoko's Vegan Butter. These little guys are so good, and can be found on both floors of the co-op in our new cookie jars!

Fan of our Vegan Fruit Danishes? They are now topped with organic apple streusel, made from Organic Apple, Organic Cinnamon, and Organic Brown Sugar!! We use only the best stuff we can find - Organic Miyoko's Vegan Butter, Organic Coconut Milk, and Vegan Kite Hill Cream Cheese. Another handmade laminated wonder baked fresh in our bakery every morning!
THE SNICKERDOODLE COOKIE
These Snickerdoodles are Vegan, Gluten Free, and Paleo! Cool, but what the heck does snickerdoodle mean? According to Irma S. Rombauer's classic book The Joy of Cooking, the word 'snickerdoodle' is likely German in origin, and a typically English corruption of the world "schneckennudel" which is a type of German cinnamon roll. It's also possible that the name is simply a nonsense word without particular meaning, originating from a New England tradition of whimsical cookie names. Whatever the case, they are "sehr köstlich" [very delitchiss] and made fresh from scratch every morning. Find them in our main floor and cafe level bakery cases!
