This Small Business Saturday, all in-store purchases are 15% off between 4pm and 7pm!! Whether you need to do your weekly shopping or just get something to help you recover from the madness of consumer culture shock the day before, we got you covered. We'll probably even have some fresh Organic Diestel Ranch Turkeys left over from Thanksgiving - and yes, those will be 15% off too - just check with a cashier on the remaining supply. The flash sale will be valid only from 4-7, and is open to members and non-members alike. Member-owners will not be eligible to use their monthly 10% off or quarterly coupons during those hours, but all other in-store purchases [and yes that includes the Food Shed Cafe!] will be discounted at 15%. Small Business Saturday began in 2010 as a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, whose focus is mainly on big box stores and e-commerce giants. It encourages shoppers to spend at smaller, Local brick-and-mortars [like the co-op] to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities.

We’re kicking it off early this year so you can give your system some love throughout the holiday season. A juice detox [even just 1 to 3 days long] can help give your digestive system and liver a rest while all the living enzymes found in raw juices help to restore your insides. They are packed with nutrients, vitamins, flavonoids, antioxidants, phytonutrients and minerals that nourish the body at a deep level. When your body isn’t working to digest solid foods, it can spend the energy on physiological restoration, using what the juices offer as fuel. Your gut bugs will thank you! Many juice detox cleansers report increased energy, restful sleep, greater mental clarity, improved digestion, and overall more vibrance. Its no surprise considering each 1-day package contains the nutrients of TEN POUNDS OF ORGANIC PRODUCE! Just think about that for a second... Included is 1 Master Cleanse, 2 Power Greens, 1 Family Greens, and 1 Starburst. Contact juice@greatbasinfood.coop 24 hours in advance to order as many days as you like!
Staff pick from Raymond Stewart, forefront extraordinaire. "This is the New Moon Detox. Its got organic oranges, alkalized water, organic lemon, organic maple syrup and activated charcoal. This drink has super powers - I get these every few weeks. If I've ever partied too hard I can grab one of these the next morning and it helps clear all that stuff up - puts a smile on my face and boosts me right back up. So its great after a fun night, but also good after a boring night because it tastes good. My first impression was that it tasted more like a kind of lemon juice. Theres a subtle charcoal aftertaste that I really like too - never thought I'd be drinking that. This looks intimidating because its this black liquid but the taste will surprise you."
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Open every day from 8am-9pm
