For Food Co-op members we offer special orders through UNFI and through DROPP, our distribution center for LOCAL & ORGANIC produce, eggs, honey and meats.You can place orders twice a week for pick up / delivery on Tuesday or Friday between 11 AM and 9 PM.Orders have to be placed on Sunday or Wednesday by midnight.

We are calling this entity DROPP -- Distributors of Regional and Organic Produce and Products. DROPP offers local and organic produce, meats, honey, eggs and organic chicken feed.

Join us this Sunday July 29th for the 20th annual Tour de Nez BIKE RACE! The street in front of the co-op will be blocked off all day, therefore we are hosting our first ever MEMBERS ONLY ride or walk to the co-op day, receive $5.00 off purchases of $25.00 or more!
Be sure to head up to the co-op balcony, one of the "official viewing spots", to see bike riders zip around Court St. onto Flint! Tour de Nez is a celebration of all things cycling. The Italian obsession. The low-rider. The messenger subculture. The tricks of the BMX. Even the spandex. On July 28-29, the Tour de Nez tips its hat to the two-wheeled wonder. From the Crit for Pro Men and Pro Women to the Clunker Classic, we take Reno on the proverbial wild ride. With various rides, music, and unbridled mayhem, the Tour de Nez is the biggest little cycling event in the world!

Hands on Owners (HOOS) of the GBCFC are the backbone of running a successful community-owned grocery store! Every day we rely on dozens of member-owners like yourself to come in for a 2 hour shift and help out a department or work team. In order to begin volunteering you need to attend an orientation, the next one scheduled is in the 3rd week of August. It will be done from scratch with fresh ingredients, and easy to do for a wonderful summer time dessert."
