The garlic came early this year due to the weather and Scott Goodpasture had to harvest quite a bit of it. Bill Mewaldt of Mewaldt Organics is going to help us use it all by teaching a garlic braiding workshop tomorrow night at the co-op at 6:00pm. This way we can help some of our beloved farmers out and learn a unique skill!
If you wish to purchase your finished braid, it's a great price for nearly 3 pounds of garlic. The rest of the braids will get sold at the co-op with the produce dept. mark-up applied...I think retailing around $30. If you like garlic, this is a steal!
