Be sure to come down the the GBCFC's 2011 Fall Seedling Sale and Farmers Market this Saturday from 9am to noon in the co-op parking lot. We will be graced by the presence of more than 14 Local Farmers, Producers, Composters, and Nursery Folk. Fresh Produce, Cookies, Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Seed Garlic, Seeds, Cover Crops, Fruit Trees, Berries, Medicinal Starts, Compost, Worm Castings, Seedlings for your Winter Garden, and Great Deals on Cases of Tomatoes for your fall canning needs and future canning exchanges. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know your growers and glean some wisdom on raising nourishing chow in our Food Shed.Know your Farmer, Know your Food

Believe it. It's real. As of April 11, 2011, Our community- owned food co-op has received $416,244 in member pledges and membership equity 10 year investments. Our goals was $415,000 in order to begin our work on the community cafe and commercial basement kitchen. Read more...
