Homemade naturally fermented organic spelt bread workshop
Like to bake bread? Ever wonder how people could make their bread rise before the days of store-bought yeast? GBCFC Member Owner Brian Rector will show you how to gather yeasts and other leavening cultures out of the air and harness them to make the classic four-ingredient bread that people have made for millenia. EXPANDED FREE CO-OP PARKING, 90 day trial period
Big thank you to the City of Reno for providing a 90 day trial period of free 1 hour parking on Flint Street in front of the co-op! That's right, for the next 90 days we are going to be documenting the usage of this parking area from our customers as a way to assess the need for more parking at Downtown Reno's only full scale grocery store...AND, the city will not be writing people tickets (this is only on Flint St. between Ridge and Court St.). Feel free to park here and in our lot anytime day or night if you are shopping at the co-op. Please do not park in the GBCFC lot and then leave the premises or else you will be towed at your expense.| |
