Truckee, located 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe, is the perfect ski town retreat, but a place to make great hearty bread? Keith and Dianne Nikkel think so. After dropping out of the daily grind of corporate life, the pair took up owning delis in Napa and Truckee. When the couple realized there were no great bread options this far inland Truckee Sourdough was born.
