For over 100 years, we have operated our sheep ranch, raising quality lamb and wool. Borda Land and Sheep is now run by third generation family members Joyce Borda Gavin, Angie Borda Page, and Ted Borda. The trio believes it’s important to keep their family’s heritage and traditions alive. Borda Ranch is one of only a few large sheep ranchers still operating in Western Nevada and the only one of Basque heritage.
The grass fed and finished lambs live and graze from Dayton, NV to the range between Topaz, CA and Bridgeport, CA. This Sierra Lamb has a wonderfully mild flavor and is less gamey than traditional lamb.
